AIMO-Prayas Project

The AIMO Industrial Foundation Society has approached Prayas J. A. C. Society to revive the past activities of their society.

It has been decided by Prayas J. A. C. Society to proceed further and in this connection two visits/meetings of Prayas’s representatives have been organized with Mr. S. K. Ghosh (Secretary) at AIMO House.

A need assessment survey has also been conducted in the nearby localities. The proposed name of the Centre may be as “PRAYAS-AIMO Centre for Livelihood Promotion”.

This Centre will provide employable vocational training in different market-led trades to unemployed youth and women belonging to different socio-economic profiles in Delhi. This Centre will be operated and managed by competent team of Prayas Institute of Economic Empowerment initially for a minimum period of 5 years as per mutually agreed terms and conditions to be laid down in the MOU in between Prayas Institute of Economic Empowerment and AIMO Industrial Foundation Society.

In the beginning, some new selective market driven trades like Retail Marketing, Computer courses, and Personality Development will be started. On attaining popularity and success, a number of other trades would also be started in order to utilize the space and expand the activities.
