Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) — Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand & Andaman
Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS), operated by Prayas JAC Society, focuses on vocational training, skill development, literacy, and livelihood promotion for youth and women from marginalized and socio-economically disadvantaged communities. JSS Prayas Jahangirpuri, Delhi, was sanctioned by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, in 2000 and has since been working towards community empowerment through education and employability initiatives.

Training Trades
JSS centres provide training in tailoring, beauty culture, computer education, handicrafts, retail, electrical work, and other sectors. The programme focuses on practical learning, income generation, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for women, youth, neo-literates, school dropouts, and vulnerable communities.
Priority Communities
Special priority is given to women, SCs, STs, OBCs, minorities, migrants, slum communities, and economically weaker sections.
Community Awareness
JSS also conducts awareness sessions on health, sanitation, environment, financial inclusion, and social welfare schemes to strengthen community participation and overall development.
