You can help Prayas through the following ways:
(A) Child Sponsorship: Individuals can sponsor a child through the ‘Prayas Sponsorship Program’. A regular monthly donation for a particular child can take care of his/her education, health, nutrition, clothing, vocational training and recreation. The child would be under the care of Prayas. “Give link to sponsorship???
As above, an organization can also sponsor a group of children.
Project Sponsorship: Your Organization can adopt a Prayas project/centre where infrastructure would be provided by Prayas and your organization can take care of running expenses of that centre. Banners/hoardings could be placed in and around the centre indicating your organization’s commitment to helping the underprivileged children.
Save A Child Scheme: Each member of your club and employee can contribute Re.1 day, Rs. 30 a month for the Prayas children. Employees can authorize the organization to deduct the said amount from his/her salary and donate it to Prayas on their behalf.
(B) Donation Boxes: Installing: Organizations can allow keeping a donation box on the premises where employees can make a regular donation. A collection could be made on a monthly or bi-monthly basis by the Prayas staff.
Sponsoring: Organizations can bear the cost of making donation boxes and put their logo along with that of Prayas, on the same. These boxes would be placed at various places like hotels, restaurants, showrooms etc. Organizations can get promotions for themselves through this activity.
(C) Kind Donation: Food-grain items, Stationery, Clothes, Shoes, Computers, Office furniture,
The study material for children And similar items of these kinds The donations made in kind can be relevant to the organization’s industry type and the organization is free to mention these donations in their promotions for image building in front of the stakeholders.
(D) Training & Employment: Help in training and placement for children learning vocational trades like computers, beauty culture, housekeeping, etc.
(E) Volunteers: Your employees can visit the Prayas centres and devote their time/ talent to the Prayas Children.
(F) Participate in Charity Events: You can support us by generating sponsorship for the fundraising events and by purchasing tickets.
