34th Foundation Day
Prayas JAC Society’ celebrated its 34th Foundation Day at Prayas Children Home for Boys, Jahangirpuri on 14th November 2022 which also coincides with the Birth Anniversary of our First Prime Minister Late Jawahar Lal Nehru, popularly known as ‘Chacha Nehru’. slum resettlement colony at Jahangirpuri aimed to rebuild lives is consistently marching on its vision of reaching out to those who are ‘invisible and unreachable’
The children and staff were ready to celebrate..See the happiness and enthusiasm in all. It's very motivating to see the children were helping in decoration, blowing balloons, getting ready wearing different costumes for cultural programmes etc.

It was truly an emotional moment to know that Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre Society has grown 34 years old on 14th November, 2022. To commemorate the occasion of children day 2022 , we had a grand celebration with the children of Prayas at our various operational locations including 10 states/union territories namely Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Arunachal and Haryana with several esteemed chief guests.
The event started with lighting the lamps by our chief guest and Mr. Amod Kumar Kanth, the Founder of Prayas, at Prayas Children’s home for boys at Jahangirpuri, followed by various cultural activities, beautifully performed by our Prayas children and drawing competitions. The event, then, ended by listening to our chief guests, who orated their thoughts on this auspicious day and also congratulated Prayas on its 34th anniversary, followed by a prize distribution ceremony for our Prayas children.
