She was powerful, not because she wasn’t scared but because she went on so strongly despite the fear. She is not a victim for sharing her story. She is a survivor setting the world on fire with her truth and she never knew who needed her light, her warmth and her raging courage.
Women safety at Workplace must be our atmost priority, when we talk about equality and equity.
Supplementing this, a training program was organised at PTS, Andaman on 'Women safety at Workplace'. The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“POSH Act”) has made ICC compulsory for both the private and non-private for women's safety on sexual harassment. A woman who is harassed can make the complaint within 90 days of the incident.
