Strengthening its commitment towards Women Empowerment-TPDDL

Strengthening its commitment towards women empowerment, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) stepped into the four more districts, namely, Bawana, Samaypur Badli, Shahbad and Narela along its implementing partner, Prayas JAC Society to increase its ABHA AMBASADOR from 68 to 80. The ABHA program aimed to empower marginalized women through education and vocational training program, as an extension of ‘Women Literacy Program’ initiated by TPDDL in 2013. With time, they become change agents/brand ambassador of TPDDL who conduct door-to-door campaigns raising awareness in communities on the importance of personal health, vocational training program, drug de-addiction campaigns, scholarships etc serving as the first consumer contact points for queries regarding program of TPDDL, thus, paving the way towards financial and social empowerment.
