Target group of Jan Shikshan Sansthan

Jan Shikshan Sansthan will concentrate on the socio-economically backward and educationally disadvantaged groups of urban/rural population such as men, women and youth, employed, self-employed, neo literates, prospective workers and their family members as well as unemployed youth.

The main target of the JSS is to impart vocational skills to the non-literates, neo literates and the person having rudimentary level of education up to 8th standard and other school dropouts beyond 8th standard i.e., up to class 12th in the age of 15-45 with a cap of 20% in the age group of 15-45 years. Age limit could be relaxed in case of “Divyang” and other deserving cases.

Priority shall be given to Women, SC, ST, OBC and Minorities in the rural areas and urban slums.

JSS Ramgarh has identified 14 Job Roles (Agriculture Mushroom-60, Self Employed Tailor-200, Beauty & Wellness- 160, Domestic Worker- 160, Electronics & Hardware-120, Food Processing- 40 Handicrafts & Carpets- 80, IT-ITES- 80)

Total number of Centres covered: 10 - Mahendra Niwas, Gomti Complex, Barki Kundru kalan, Karmali tola, Dusadh Mohalla, Chhatar mandu, Margdarsan, Rahmat Nagar, Golpar, Vikas Nagar.
