Prayas TPDDL Vocational Training Centre
The TPDDL Project, implemented by Prayas JAC Society in partnership with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) since 2012, focuses on skill development, women empowerment, literacy, and community-based livelihood initiatives for underserved communities in Delhi. The initiative was developed to improve the quality of life in surrounding slum communities while creating a skilled workforce to meet local employment needs.
Areas of Operation
The project operates across Wazirpur, Narela, and Mangolpuri through vocational training centres, Women Literacy Centres, and ABHA community initiatives. It focuses on empowering youth, women, and adolescent girls from economically weaker backgrounds through free, market-oriented vocational training and awareness programmes.

Training Programmes
Training programmes include Beauty Culture, Computer Education, Tally, Desktop Publishing, Web Designing, Hardware & Networking, English Speaking, Personality Development, Mobile Repairing, Cutting & Tailoring, and healthcare-related courses. Awareness sessions on financial literacy, health, hygiene, and community participation are also regularly conducted.
