International Child Labour Prohibition Day at Bettiah, East Champaran, Bihar

On the occasion of International Child Labour Prohibition Day on June 12, Sub-Divisional Officer Ravikant Sinha and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dhirendra Kumar flagged off a special awareness chariot on spreading awareness & sensitizing public on eradicating #childlabour. An #awarenessprogram was organized on the occasion of #InternationalChildLabourProhibition Day under Anti Human Trafficking Unit Sector Headquarters, Bettiah, Sashastra Seema Bal 47th Corps Pantoka. People were #sensitized by SSB (AHTU) Inspector Manoj Kumar Sharma by raising the slogan 'Hum sabne ye thana hai child labour mitana hai'. The program was presided over by Aarti Kumari, District Project Coordinator of Prayas JAC Society, East Champaran. It was urged to give information on #combattingchildlabour. Taking the awareness chariot forward, station superintendent, Railway Protection Force Inspector Ritu Raj Kashyap, in the presence of Rajkiya Railway Police among the passengers in the Raxaul Railway Station premises told that child labour is a matter of great concern on which all of us should take a stand.
