Rescued 7 children under Child Labour from East Champaran, Motihari.

Under the leadership of Labour Superintendent, Shri Satya Prakash, an intensive investigation campaign was conducted on (24.02.23), in various establishments by the special raiding team under Motihari Sadar and Pakdidayal blocks. During the investigation, we could find that the rescue team rescued seven children from committing child labour. They were rescued from five establishments namely Maa Kajal Rediment, Cozy Sweets, Mahalakshmi Textile, Milan Textile, Alanka Jewellers. A total of seven children were freed from child labour. Also, clear instructions were given by the Labour Superintendent that the campaign will further continue to be an lively activity under the East Champaran district. Under the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, actions are being taken to register FIR against all the employers in the concerned police stations while all the released child laborers are presented before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), East Champaran, Motihari.
