Established in 1995, Prayas Health Services (PHS), a unit of Prayas JAC Society, has been committed to providing affordable and community-based healthcare services to underserved populations in Delhi. Operating from Kirti Nagar, New Delhi, PHS works towards improving the health and well-being of children, women, youth, and marginalized communities through accessible healthcare, awareness programmes, and livelihood-linked health initiatives.

Community Outreach
PHS regularly organizes health camps, diagnostic screenings, counselling sessions, and awareness activities in community clusters, schools, and urban settlements. Special focus is given to preventive healthcare, women’s health, reproductive hygiene, nutrition awareness, and early identification of health concerns through timely referrals and follow-up support.
Livelihood Through Healthcare Training
The initiative also supports livelihood generation through healthcare training programmes such as the General Duty Assistant (GDA) and Nursing Attendant course, helping youth and women develop employable healthcare skills.
