Prayas bagged a special award for its exemplary work among the NGOs of the country for its work in Skilling and Livelihood.
Prayas JAC Society shone bright amidst a galaxy of talented industrialists and business houses on March 2 as it bagged a special award for its exemplary work among the NGOs of the country for its work in Skilling and Livelihood.
The function was organised by Business Sphere Group in its 3collaboration with Prayas.
Ms Indu Rani Singh, Executive Director received the trophy for Prayas.
The awardees specializing in various fields were selected by a Jury, and the award was received from Mr. Anil Aggarwal, Rajya Sabha MP, Mr.Sandeep Marwah National Chairman of the Media and Entertainment Committee, Mr.Deepak Khattar Editor in Chief of Business Sphere and Amitabh Srivastava Associate Editor of Business Sphere.
Lauding the awardees Mr.Ashwini Choubey MOS for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Consumers Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in a video message lauded the winners and said that hard work always pays.
Speaking at the Conclave on the topic 'India poised to be number 3 economy in the world' Mr Kanth said that India has done well in the last few years by tweaking its focus on people-friendly policies to reach the number 3 spot in the world.
Dr Anil Aggarwal, Rajya Sabha MP, and Mr.Sandeep Marwah both spoke about the success and glory of India.
Thanking the guests Mr.Deepak Khattar said he had inherited the vision of Business Sphere from his father late GR Khattar who had also started the awards program which he was dutifully carrying forward despite all odds.
