Prayas Participated in the 10 days cultural event organized by the Resident Commission, J&K

The tapestry of Kashmiri culture weaves together a mesmerizing blend of traditions, reflecting the region’s rich history and diverse influences. To experience the vibrant culture of Jammu and Kashmir, The Resident Commission of J&K has organized an event that was inaugurated yesterday. The event includes various competitions, art galleries, traditional music and dance, authentic Kashmiri Cuisine, Handicrafts, Horticulture products and whatnot. The cultural event and exhibition inaugurated on 13-02-2024 by the Hon’ble Lt.Governor of J&K is now open to all till 19-02-2023. The Kashmir unit of Prayas has also setup two stalls at the exhibition. One has 100%pure and hand-made products including pashmina shawls, rugs, bed sheets etc. The products reflect the region’s natural beauty, with motifs inspired by the lush landscapes, blooming flowers, majestic mountains, and serene lakes of Kashmir. The other stall is serving authentic traditional Kashmiri Cuisines portraying the region’s diversity and culinary heritage. Our Children from Kashmir are also here to take you all through Kashmir with their dances.
