Sanchay Prayas Swavlamban Sansthan (SPSS) is a Prayas placement body, registered under section 25 of the Company Act, 1956 (No.1 of 1956) and that the Company is Private Limited with CIN : U85100DL2009NPL187722 (2008-2009) registered on 18th February 2009. The main objective of this livelihood generation cell is to promote empowerment of the society's socio-economic and educationally backward segments through skill-upgrading process, creation of enterprises with no profit motive. The other major interventions of this placement body is to facilitate participation of women group through Self Help Groups (SHGs) and link with them through Entrepreneurship skill and Production units. The core philosophy of SPSS is based on the idea of mainstreaming the marginalized population through economic inclusion. The other concept of SPSS is to establish Gender Society by creating opportunities for living, particularly for domestic workers under the Domestic Worker Sector Skills Council (DWSSC).
