Prayas Children’s Home-Bettiah

Prayas Children’s home, Bettiah is being run since September 7, 2013.

The purpose of excursion- it provides direct source of knowledge and acquaint children with first hand information and also provide an opportunity to the children for development of its aesthetic sense. By such excursion children become interested in the exploration of their environment. It helps in development of power of observation, exploration, judgment and drawing inference, problem solving of children.

A report on new trend for reuniting children with their family
A new trend for ‘missing children’ have been started to reunite them with their family. For the implementation of this practice, we made contact with the owner of cinema halls and they were convinced to show the details with picture of missing children in the cinema hall. We hope that this trend will be successful to make them restore to their family.

There are nine children at children’s home, who don’t have information about their family and they are residing at children’s home since last one year. We have been publishing the details with picture of them through social media and placards. But, we did not get success to rehabilitate them into their family. And then, we tried such a method in which we set the picture of children in the mind of people with help of the slides in the cinema halls.
